Profile of WOI(RTD) Edward Tamakloe - Security supervisor
WOI(RTD) Edward Tamakloe joined the Merton Admin team as the Security Supervisor in December 2019. He brings to the table a rich history of 25 years of service in the Ghana Airforce, retiring in 2015. After retirement, he has acquired 4 years of experience working with Vizico Security where he was a Security Supervisor and Thomas Security Services, where he was in charge of Operations and Training, as well as a Site Manager. Prior to his military career, WOI(Rtd) Tamakloe worked as a pupil teacher for 3 years. In addition to the rich training courses he undertook with the Airforce, WOI (Rtd) Tamakloe also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Sociology from the University of Ghana. His illustrious career in the Ghana Airforce won him Awards whilst in service whilst his passion for farming was rewarded with recognition as the Best Maize Farmer in La Dadekotopon Municipality in the year 2015. He is married with four children.
The vision to establish Merton International Primary and High School was a singular one.
