The Transatlantic Slave Trade was the Project Topic for Year 5. Learners researched on the 3 stages of the Transatlantic slave trade, with the focus on the life of a slave, the resistance to and the abolishment of slavery and finally, the impact of slavery and lessons learnt. The animated programme was comprised of songs, poetry, recitals, dance and drama. We acknowledge the support of parents with costuming and refreshments after the programme. Well done Year 5!
