Mr. R. A. Baitie

R. A. Baitie is an experienced businessman and entrepreneur. He took a loan at 18 to set up the first of his own companies. Spent his working life in decision-making executive management positions mostly in different sectors of the Ghanaian Automobile Industry. Highpoint of his career was becoming the youngest official Distributor and Importer appointed by an automobile company for West Africa, a "job" he thoroughly enjoyed because it was also his hobby and passion.

Recognizing the opportunity to impact Ghana's education landscape, Mr. Baitie pivoted from the transport industry to jointly finance and establish Merton International Primary and Secondary School with his wife, Elizabeth Baitie, while remaining a consultant to the transport sector.

He has been a part of the management team since inception in 1998. Now retired, he is a member of the Board of Directors and currently Acting Board Chairperson. While his strong entrepreneurial and managerial skills are undeniable assets, he asserts that his f amily and Christian values are his most important assets and what define who he is.
