Mrs Eunice 8. Apenteng. an Administrative and Human Resource Consultant for Merton International School is a seasoned marketing professional with over 27 years of active experience. She attended Winneba Secondary for her O level and Sixth Form Education and has a BSc. Degree in Marketing from the Manhattan University, USA. She also holds a Sales and Marketing Certificate from GIMPA.
Mrs. Apenteng's 27 year career has spanned various positions in companies such as the Diplomatic Shop at Kotota International Airport where she worked for 9 years. At the Diplomatic Shop, she drove sales through targeted clearance, incentives targets and promotions. She was also a key link in communicating between clients, product merchants and the company. Mrs Apenteng was the Manager at Ghana Groceries Ltd for 3 years. At Ghana Groceries ltd. she directed Human Resource activities, conferred with the Board, signed and negotiated contracts and organized and approved promotions. She then moved on to Digitronix limited in the year 2000 as the Business Development Manager, a position she occupied for 13 years until her retirement in 2013 to set up her own business.
At Digitronix, she was a key stakeholder in driving the sales of the organization. Mrs. Apenteng motivated and managed a six member Sales Force co produce results, which included the achievement of a sales target of $5 million in the first two years and generating over $ 40 million worth of new business until her retirement in 2013. She led and developed the implementation of Annual Business Development Plans that resulted in consistent sales increases; and spearheaded the roll out of new products, targeting corporate bodies.
Her achievements include a Marketing Strategy that moved the Company to the prestigious Ghana Club 100 in 2003 (No. 72) and 2004 (No. 46) At present, Mrs Appenteng runs her own business, Primus Logistics, consults for schools and organisations and is a member of several boards. Mrs Apenteng is widow with three adult children. a male and two females.
