In keeping with the Merton tradition pupils and students spent Wednesday 19th February 2020 at the EL-Wak Sports Stadium. It was all fun and cheers from the spectators as the pupils and students completed with each other for certificates and bragging.
The events included shot put, javelin, discus, long jump, 100m, 200m, shuttle race, fill the bottle, find the coin, three-leg-race, 100 metres, 200 metres, 400 metres, 4x100metres and so on. Kevin Nuamah won the 100m and 200m boys’ events for the High School. Shaina Anusah emerged winner in the Senior girls 100m race. It was all fun as new talents were unearthed especially in the Junior school. Some parents also took time off to cheer and inspire their wards.
